Sharleen completed her HBA/BEd at Lakehead University in 2007. After traveling extensively through South America and Europe and working in the U.K., Sharleen accepted a teaching position in Nassau in 2009. Canadian by birth, she now considers herself Bahamian at heart. Her business-savvy husband helped to spark an entrepreneurial spirit that had previously lain dormant, and together, they now run several businesses including Boost Educational Services, JKL Media, and the Savage 100 record label. She is passionate about education, protecting the environment and leaving this world a little better than it was when she came into it.
