Ed retired from the Central Bank of the Bahamas in 2009 where he was employed for 29 years as a Senior Assistant Manager. He studied at McMaster University, Ontario Canada where obtained a B. A. in Economics (1976). He also worked at the Ministry of Works as an Architectural Draughtsman for several years.
He is presently serving as Chairman of the Pastoral Board at the East St. Gospel Chapel where he is involved with youth ministry and hosts a weekly radio program on ZNZ 1540. Ed is passionately involved with the young people in the Bain and Grants Town area, where he spends most of his time. He is married to his lovely wife Kelsie and is the proud father of one daughter Dr. Daria Dorsett who is a Dental Surgeon.
